1/2 fl oz of a Lip Liquid contains about 300 drops of color. This is enough to color approximately 20 4-gram lipsticks.
Adding approximately 10% by weight of a texturizing powder such as TKB's Pashmica will increase or boost the color payout.

Until I found this product, I had given up on using TD in CP soap. No matter which kind I used, or how much I mixed and strained it, I would still get speckles in my soap (which I didn't want), but once I tried TKB's TD disbursed in castor oil, I was hooked! Now I have soap with pretty white accents to my to show off my swirly designs. Love this stuff and can't imagine soaping without it!
Titanium dioxide is essential in all mineral cosmetics. "Tio2" is used for opacity and for lightening a color. This also goes for lip products like lipstick and lip gloss. Tio2 by itself is pretty chunky and is hard to dissolve into liquids - it tends to leave white specks that are very hard to get rid of. This liquid white pigment is just "Tio2" pre-dispersed in Castor oil and makes live so much easier! Just drop a few drops of this into your lip stick concoction and you'll have instant opacity - without wasting a lot of other pigments.
I had been trying to make a pink gloss with no luck until discovering this white lip liquid. 1 drop of red and a couple drops of white made the perfect bubble gum pink that I was looking for. For the price you can't beat it, especially unless you're making tons of lip gloss one small tube of this will last forever.
Do yourself a favor, just buy this. All the hard work has already been done. The marriage of these two is right up there with Einstein's Theory of Relativity. Nuff said. :)
