26mm round tin pans.
  • Ingredients: Tin.
    Diameter/Height: 26/2.59 (mm)
  • Pans are generally for pressed powders, as well as for hot pour and cold process cosmetics.

Our pans are tin plate. The alternative (which we do not sell) would be aluminum. The reason we sell tin plate pans is because tin is responsive to magnets. This makes tin pans a perfect choice if you are placing them into any type of magnetic palette.

Please note that tin pans will rust if they are exposed to water. Aluminum pans will not. If you use rubbing alcohol to clean your pans (which is recommended), please either make sure that the alcohol is full strength (e.g. 99%). If you use a diluted alcohol (e.g. commonly 70%), make sure that it dries off completely. If you leave your pans sitting in alcohol they may develop rust because 70% alcohol means it also contains 30% water. And water will rust your pans.

Questions & Answers

Ask a Question
  • How tall are these? Or which clear base or single palette container could be used with these?

The diameter of the pan is 1.024 inches (26mm) and the height is 0.102 inches (2.59mm).  At this moment (March 2017), the palettes which we sell to work with these pans are our 4-cavity and 12-cavity palettes.

  • can i preoder or something like that ?

No.  At this time, we do not have a preorder system.

  • Good morning, is there a way to be notified when something is back in stock?

Yes, kind of.  We have a weekly newsletter which we send out which gives stock updates.  You will find the sign up for that at our Out of Stock page:

  • Are these pans magnetic? Do they stick on MAC palettes?

Yes, they are magnetic.  Any tin pan is magnetic.  The non-magnetic ones are made of aluminum.

Having said that, I have heard that MAC palettes have reversed polarity such that only their tins will work with their palettes.  I'm not sure about this...could be an urban myth...but would explain why people cannot seem to get normal magnetic things to stick to a MAC palette.  I have never tried putting them on a MAC palette so I can't say for sure.
