Bismuth Oxychloride / Pearl Sheen

Bismuth Oxychloride is an inorganic white pigment commonly used in foundations, blushes and other color cosmetics.

Our Bismuth Oxychloride has a soft pearly sheen with a silky feel. Additionally, this product has been UV treated. This doesn't mean that it gives added UV protection to your skin, but it does mean that the product itself will have a longer shelf life in terms of its color. Bismuth has a tendency to go grey over time, and this extra UV protection insures that it will stay a true white.

I purchased a sample of this, and while the powder is great stuff, now days Bismuth is thought to be a bad additive, so I don't use it any more.  Still looking to make something with this stuff!

I uses this as a face highlighter.  I have been searching high and low for something that is not shimmery or glittery, but that reflects light.  Everything that I have come across (before now) that was pearly either had color or was too white.  This is a translucent pearl when used alone, with no glitter, no pearl, no white...ALL AWESOME!

While I dont add Bismuth to my formulations of powder mineral foundation I use it as a highlighter on the bridge of my nose and other places and WOW just beautiful!!!! I had ran out of Bismuth and used a highlighter from elf and I broke out in every area that I applied the powder. This stuff doesnt break me out and is way more pearlescent than the other stuff I've tried. If your going for that dewy celebrity glow this is it. I would give it more than 5 stars if I could.
