This brush is 3 7/8" (98.5mm) long. It has a nice oval taper which can be used for broad strokes as well as sideways to define a line. It can be used for eye shadows, eyeliners, etc. (because it is so soft and shapely).
The brushes fit into the Clear Painterly Pan which we sell.

Besides using it for lipstick/liner, so far I've used the brush (not one and the same brush, of course, but a new one for each task/project LOL) for painting small items, cleaning dust away in tight corners, applying nail polish, cream/liquid concealer, and cream eyeshadow, and many other uses… But I love it and use it most for my Economy Lipstick Mold. I use the brush to coat the mold with oil as the hairs don't shed and I prefer using the brush over cotton swabs since the swabs usually leave lint behind. Also, the brush is stiff enough to remove the bits of broken bullets from the mold. And when I wash my mold with soap and water, I use the brush to clean the hard to reach sharp angled tip of the cavities. (Heehee, oops, I almost forgot to mention: first wash and sanitize the brush before using it on the mold and dispose of it after use to prevent cross-contamination.
i love these ones, work great, way better than old ones.
This brush is also great for a smudged eyeliner look and a thicker eyeliner stroke. It's definitely a multi-purpose brush and the price is unbeatable.
Great! Bristles have just the right "consistency"
These are amazing for painting, swatching formulations, lipstick, concealer , eyeliner, measuring spoon cleaning etc. My only gripe is I wish they had a slightly longer handle. I feel like these were made for tiny hands :(
