For the lip-balm base, i am using beeswax, liquid oils and cocoa butter.. This recipe is too soft on the first day, but it kept solidifying and after 24 hours is a nice consistency for a pot. It is a little firmer than butter at room temperature. Draggy. Very moisturizing. Stays forever on your lips. DoesnÍt migrate at all. Subtle shine. I like it. Grayish- greenish ugly color because of the virgin beeswax (not bleached) and the olive oil. Not visually appealing in the pot, but you donÍt see it when it is applied, though. I think this balm would melt too easily in summer.
This is an uncolored lip gloss. It shows how lip gloss really is just a blend of oils, butters and waxes.
