This is a great color...I just made it and it is absolutely gorgeous...I just need to figure out how to make it more into an eyeshadow...I added the TKB base and it became too light...I think I may add some sericite to thin it out a bit...I will let you know what I come up with...If I want to make this and sell it in my line, then I need to figure out how I can make a larger batch, that's all....BUt it is a very beautiful color. It truly is like a ocean blue...it reminds me of a clear day when the ocean is so vibrant....Beautiful!
So I spent all day yesterday making all of these matte colors..I was covered in all of the colors from head to toe..lol..This was the first one I made, and It is a keeper. It is easy to make, as there aren't a lot of ingredients, but you def. need to use the hydrated chromium green to get the correct color. I love this color so much, so I am going to experiment and see what I can do about making it a shimmery eyeshadow..Maybe some Boron Nitride, and some sericite...and maybe I will add in a shimmery mica that is close in color..I will let you know how it turns out... The color has a beautiful depth to it, that you can not see on the computer screen...I added this to my line, and I think it will be perfect for blue eyes and brown eyes...Ocean is the perfect name too!
I love this color so much, that I wanted to turn it into a shimmery eyeshadow too...SO I added some sericite and Boron Nitride..Then I added some Hilite Blue to it, and it came out beautiful! Try it and you will love it too!
