Our Soft pigments are pigments which are pre-blended with mica and bismuth oxychloride. The resulting product is much, much easier to blend into your cosmetic formula. In fact, you do not need to use any type of shearing mixer (such as a blender), but instead may simply shake the colors together with the base ingredients.

I know some people are not that fond of the "softs" but I love this brown. It is perfect for a neutral look for work; or blending it with other colors; even makes a nice blush when adding just a tad of carmine (or other red) to it. Works well with my reddish brown complexion.
Finally! I found a blend to add to my mineral makeup to match my skin tone (+ Yellow Oxide, Golden Beige Mica)...it's so hard to get what you want, but now I kno what to buy. It's very easy to mix with the base, and other colors! I love it
I use this in my Super-Awesome blemish fighting face powder. It is the only pigment I use besides some Harvest Yellow (to counteract my sallow tone, under eye circles and mild redness). It comes out perfectly every time and is a flawless match to my neutral toned face (I would wear "Fairly Medium" in famous mineral brands). I should also mention that I cannot wear the aforementioned famous brands of mineral wear due to the Bismuth Oxychloride content making my face itch when I sweat (?). The Bismuth Oxychloride in the Soft Brown does not irritate my face at all, even when I perspire. It's really a lot easier than adding the traditional small amounts of green, red, and yellow to make brown. This does all the guesswork. I believe that this would work for practically any skin tone, as the color is super buildable and can be made light or dark. I am snapping up my four ounces as soon as I can, before the word gets out! Thanks TKB!
This made a perfect color match in my foundation blend for my very pale, neutral toned skin. I also love it for everyday eyeshadows. Try mixing this with a base and "Davy's Gray" for a lovely soft taupe eyeshadow
