Are the reflecks partial size the 0.008 microns or are they bigger than that?

Are these the glass flecks I see now in so many indie polishes? I have been looking everywhere! If so, are they rough in texture(uneven on nail surface like some chunky glitters? Would they scratch the nail surface when removing? Are they hard to remove i.e. Need soaking method? You said they are 64 microns. How big is that in millimeters or inches? The .008 is inches. How big is a micron?
