When you rub the powder between your fingers, you will note that it is exceptionally soft and smooth (thanks to the silica). You will also see the whiteness disappear as it turns a bright, luminescent goldish lime green.
If you rub the powder across a piece of white paper with black background and tilt the paper, you will see the green hue fade and the soft golden rose moves into the fore. This is the color-shift in action
Here are the guidelines for "best use":
◦*Use the color alone or in with small amounts of dark colors such as blue, black or green
◦*Use in transparent, translucent or semi-opaque formulas (for example: lip gloss, not lip stick)
◦*Mix it gently (avoid grinding it in a mortar and pestle or blender)
◦*Package in transparent packaging to show off the color shifting

The picture does not do this justice at all- it shifts to a beautiful lime green color and then a subtle rose. The lime green shows up really well if added to black mica. This is by far my favorite planet!
I love this mica you have to buy it to see its true beauty, as Christa said once swatched it shifts from lime to a rose, adding this to any look will create a fairy like appearance.
